On this day I have pushed through my idea, namely a hike on the Brocken. The reason: My boyfriend and I are now 3 years together, collect the stamps of the Harzer Wandernadel and have not been there once together.

We started in Wernigerode, where we looked for an overnight stay for the weekend. On Saturday we visited the castle of Wernigerode.

We saved the hike for Sunday - We started from Schierke, the neighboring town, to the Brocken. On the way up we were able to capture the Harzer Schmalspurbahn by photo, the steam seemed to merge with the low floating clouds.

The weather foggy, cool and fresh, suitable for the season. It gave the Harz forests a mysterious aura.

Je höher wir stiegen, desto mehr Nebel empfing uns.

Bei Nebel muss man noch mehr Rücksicht nehmen als sonst, die Radfahrer sieht man etwas spät. Passt auf euch auf. ;)

Als wir oben ankamen, war es so neblig, dass wir kaum Fotos machen konnten, dafür kann ich euch eine kleine Fotoreihe zeigen:

Ein wunderschöner Kurzausflug. Wer Dampfloks liebt, sollte dem Brocken mal einen Besuch abstatten. :) Es lohnt sich.
