We started near Mücheln, along the lake we followed the path in northern direction - up to the observation tower in Stöbnitz.

The path is super suitable for cycling tours - for hiking unfortunately less, because it is mostly asphalted.

Once there, we quickly scrambled up and enjoyed the great view of the Geiseltalsee. We were spared from rain, although it looked like a thunderstorm all the time.

The poppies blossomed in their beautiful red and resulted in colorful dots in the landscape -.
an exciting contrast to the cloudy, gloomy sky. This had to be captured.
